This is my first post on my blog.  I have been thinking of writing one for a long time now,   Putting all those words on paper, thoughts and muses which have been clogging my  mind ever since 12th June when I made a big decision to change the course of my life.    Daily routine as I knew it in the last 18 years was going to be different and I wanted to enter this new phase in a positive and productive way.   So I asked Niki if writing a blog was a good idea. Being the dedicated and efficient guy that he is, the website was set up and the ball rolling within the hour, now I had no excuse!!!

I chose 13th December as the day to start my blog as it was a day which changed my life and here was this wonderful little person who brought so much to all our lives.    She has been the lucky charm for our small family. The one who is our conscience, the one with the wise words and the one who will always be there to give you unbiased advice and support. She does have the wisdom of someone so much older.

In our small family, we have a ritual which we have always followed when it came to birthdays. No big presents but a dinner out sponsored by one of us on rotation, It was Niki’s turn … a fabulous meal at Oshiburi, a Japanese restaurant. As usual, it was a wonderful occasion celebrating the birth of a very loved and special person.
